In the new spy drama Rabbit Hole from Paramount+, Kiefer Sutherland is the target.

In the eight-episode series, the actor plays John Weir, a master of deception in the world of corporate espionage. The first two episodes premiere on March 26. John becomes the hunted when powerful forces that can influence and control populations frame him for murder.

ET has the exclusive premiere of the official trailer and key art for the drama. The cast includes Charles Dance as Dr. Ben Wilson, Meta Golding as Hailey Winton, Enid Graham as Josephine “Jo” Madi, Rob Yang as Edward Homm, Walt Klink as The Intern, and Jason Butler Harner as Valence. The showrunners are John Requa and Glenn Ficarra.

As John searches for answers, Sutherland’s character sets off a bomb at the beginning of the two-minute trailer. John’s life turns upside down when he finds something that someone more powerful than he can imagine wants to stay hidden forever. Dr. Ben Wilson says, “You’ve found something big enough to make you a target.”

As John gets closer and closer to finding the truth, he feels overwhelmed by the fact that “this time there are just too many possibilities” for who could be behind everything. As it becomes clear that he may not be able to trust anyone, he worries, “I don’t know what’s real and what’s not.”

Sutherland told ET’s Will Marfuggi at the Television Critics Association press tour in January that his new series is a “classic thriller.” “When John, Glenn, and I first started talking about this project and they told me about what they wanted to do, we were talking about movies like Three Days of the Condor and other great spy thrillers from the 1970s.

I think what makes the show so interesting isn’t just the twists and turns, but how it shows how our society has changed. People’s lives have changed as much because of technology as they did because of the Industrial Revolution.”

He gave more information about what people can expect when Rabbit Hole starts next month.”Disinformation is false information that is spread on purpose and is meant to cause trouble.

As a society, we need to learn how to deal with it. We’re trying to do that now, and that’s what this show is about “the former 24 stars said. “John Weir, the character I play, is usually the one who is in charge.

He works in corporate espionage and pulls scams that move billions of dollars. What I liked about the show was that this guy is usually in charge and is actually pulling the strings of power.

All of a sudden, the conspiracy turns on him, and he’s desperate to figure out who’s doing this to him, how powerful they are, and what their plans are. From there, the show goes on, but it’s about someone going from chasing someone to trying to get away from them.”

Sutherland is an executive producer, along with Requa, Ficarra, Charlie Gogolak, Suzan Bymel, and Hunt Baldwin, who are also writers and directors.

In the U.S. and Canada, the first two episodes of Rabbit Hole will air on March 26. After that, new episodes will air every Sunday. It will come out on March 27 in the U.K., Australia, Latin America, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and France. South Korea will get a premiere date in the future.
