The actress from The Cosby Show is expecting a baby with her husband, Brad James. Even though this will be the first child for the couple, Keshia already has a 5-year-old daughter with her ex, Ed Hartwell.
In his Instagram post that showed her showing off her baby bump as she smiled with Brad at the Tamron Hall Show and Salt-N-“Push Pepa’s It” played in the background. “Baby James will be born in 2023!!”
During her time on the show, Keshia talked about why she had kept the news to herself at first.
She told Tamron Hall, “It’s not that I’ve been trying to hide it.” “But when you’ve had a miscarriage when you’ve been through this journey, you want to just enjoy this moment and make sure that everything is OK. So, we haven’t been hiding it. I’ve been walking, doing stuff, and living. But as far as making a statement, we haven’t done that yet.”
Now that the secret is out, she’s happy. Keshia continued, “It feels good because I know so many people have been with us on this journey.”
Ella can’t wait to get a brother or sister. “She’s so happy to be a big sister, and she talks to the baby all the time,” said the actress. “I was on my belly, and she had already been on this trip, so I asked, “Mommy, will the baby stay with us this time?” Is it going to stay?’ And she’s so glad that it is and that things are going well. She’s going to be the best big sister in the world.”

American actress Keshia Knight Pulliam was born on April 9, 1979. She started acting as a child, and her big break came when she was cast as Rudy Huxtable on the NBC sitcom The Cosby Show (1984–1992).
This role got her a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series at the 38th Primetime Emmy Awards. Later, she played Miranda Lucas-Payne on the TBS comedy-drama Tyler Perry’s House of Payne (2007–present).

Keshia Knight Pulliam was born in Newark, New Jersey. Her parents, Denise and James Knight Pulliam Sr., were both managers.
Her brothers are James Knight Pulliam II, Mshon Knight Pulliam, and Juwan Pulliam. Knight Pulliam went to Somerset, New Jersey’s Rutgers Preparatory School.
When The Cosby Show ended in 1992, her family moved to Virginia, where Knight Pulliam went to the Potomac School in McLean and the Foxcroft School in Middleburg, where she graduated in 1997.
In 2001, she got a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from Spelman College. Delta Sigma Theta’s Eta Kappa chapter is her sorority.
