After an altercation at his Herriman, Utah, residence, a TikTok celebrity with over four million followers is facing domestic assault charges.
The 28-year-old Taylor Frankie Paul has been charged with assault, criminal mischief, and domestic violence with a kid present.
After reviewing new video evidence, police in Herriman have decided to investigate a misdemeanor allegation of careless child abuse.
According to the probable cause statement filed against Paul, a neighbor called the police after hearing shouting and yelling coming from inside the house.
In response to police questioning, Paul “lunged at the victim and began pushing/hitting him,” according to reports from the officers who arrived at the house.
Paul was identified by authorities as the aggressor, and the two parties were separated.
Arrest reports claim that the victim, who has not been named, complained of elbow aches after the incident.
A little child was hurt “by an action of Ms Paul,” according to a police press release, and the child was present in the residence during the argument.
No more information regarding the nature of the injury or the child’s condition was provided.
In addition, the Herriman police department stated that Paul’s influencer status will “have no weight or impact on the investigation or conclusion of the matter.”
