Sonic Prime is an animated TV show based on the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series. It was made by Netflix Animation, WildBrain Studios, Man of Action, and the animation studio Marza Animation Planet of the Sega Sammy Group. This is the sixth animated TV show based on the series.
The first season, which has eight episodes, came out on December 15, 2022, on Netflix. WildBrain Studios says that there will be at least 24 episodes in the whole series. Logan McPherson, the SVP of Creative at WildBrain Studios in Canada, hinted in an interview that more Sonic Prime episodes are on the way. Still, he wasn’t sure when the next episodes would come out.
Sonic Prime Season 2: Will It Be Renewed?
The people who make Sonic Prime have not yet decided to make a Season 2. I mean, Netflix will probably take a while to figure out what the best deal is for them. Before giving a series the go-ahead, the streaming service looks at a few things.
The number of views is the first thing to look at. They try to figure out if the show is getting enough people to watch it on the service. The second most important thing is money coming in. At the end of the day, everyone needs to have jobs.
So, Netflix will look at ways to make money, both to make sure the crew and cast are working in good conditions and to make sure they have enough money for themselves. The plot is the third thing. Yes, they will try to think about the story and whether or not they can have a future right now.

When Will Sonic Prime Season 2 Come Out?
If the show is renewed right now, the second season could come out in the May of 2023. Also, the first plan for the show was for it to have 24 episodes. Even so, we’ve only got 8 of them so far. We don’t know if the episodes will be released all at once or in parts, or if the show is just on a break and might come back soon.
