Since CS: Dust GO’s 2 has been changed and redone, players are trying to find the best smoke spots all over again. Most of the legendary map Dust 2 is still the same, which is good, but the small changes have made a few new smoke spots appear.

The Best Dust 2 CT Smoking Spots

Even though it takes practice and good aim to throw a grenade, the right throw and the right spot can change the course of the game. It’s a good idea to have them under your belt in case you need them.

Protection to Cross to B

Any CT round needs protection to get from mid to B. It’s one of the most dangerous spots in CS: GO because of how far you can see, so if you want to stop the TAWP, this can be a great place to smoke.

For this smoke spot, you’ll need to go to the outside of the mid, so be careful. You should also tell your teammates about your plan. If you don’t, you won’t have anyone to help you.

You can basically throw this smoke from the entrance to your spawn point that leads to the A Site. The smoke will cover enough to hide the entrance to A Long and A Short, so you can split push.

Head to The Cross Patterns to The Left of A Long Look up And Aim the Smoke Just Above the Left Corner of The Antenna.
Throw Left Click

Blocking Mid

Blocking the middle of the map can help the Counter-Terrorists in more than one way. It lets them push A or B whenever they want, especially with this smoke shot.

If you go from A Long to B Site and throw the smoke grenade there, it will cover up the Counter Terrorist’s spawn, the middle, and the A Cross, which helps you move toward B.

Block off A Long

1. Head to long doors
2. Look to the ceiling and line your crosshairs up with the bottom of the left pillar as seen in the image

Hidden Terrorists from A Short

A site is usually the plan of attack for traditional terrorists unless it’s a B rush round. The best way to get there is to split down A Short, which is usually less dangerous than long but can still kill you.
