Mashiro is the author and illustrator of the Japanese manga series Yamada-Kun to Lv999 no Koi o Suru. In March 2019, it started serializing on the Ganma! manga website run by Comic Smart.
The series’ various chapters have been compiled into six volumes as of October 2022. Madhouse will debut its adaptation of an anime television series in April 2023.
Loving Yamada at Lv999 Cast
Saori Nishi, Nobuo Tobita, and Rio Tsuchiya are the recently revealed cast members for My Love Story With Yamada-Kun at Lv999. Nishi plays Momoko Maeda, Tobita plays Takezo Kamota, and Tsuchiya plays Yukari Tsubaki.
Akane is voiced by Inori Minase, Yamada by Kouki Uchiyama, Eita Sasaki by Natsuki Hanae, and Runa Sasaki by Ai Kakuma in the anime. The anime is directed by Morio Asaka, known for his roles in My Love Story!!
, Card Captor Sakura, and Chihayafuru.
The characters are created by Kunihiko Hamada, and the show’s main writer Yasuhiro Nakanishi is in charge of the screenplay. Music is written by Mito from Clammbon and DÉ DÉ MOUSE.

Loving Yamada at Lv999 Release Date
On September 24, 2022, it was announced that Loving Yamada at Lv999 would be animated. At the same time, the important personnel lineup was also made public.
The anime is being directed by Morio Asaka. The character design is done by Hamada Kunihiko, and the series composition is handled by Nakanishi Yasuhiro. This anime will be made by the Madhouse studio.
When compared to their prior work, this anime has a feel that is reminiscent of Ore Monogatari (2015), the year’s top contender in the romance genre. Because the director and character designer are the same, it is implied. Not to add that it originated in Madhouse.
It is exactly the same as Ore Monogatari when comparing the manga’s art to the recently released PV. To draw in the fans, the visual art will be improved overall.
This anime won’t keep you waiting for very long. On April 1, 2023, Loving Yamada at Lv999 will be made available.
The Official Synopsis and What to Expect?
Mashiro’s wildly popular manga Loving Yamada at Lv999, which has received numerous awards over the years, served as the basis for the plot.
This includes taking home the top honor at the 2022 Tsutaya Comic Award and placing ninth and fourth, respectively, in the Next Manga Awards for the past two years in the web manga category.
According to Mangamo, the official summary of the tale is as follows:
“Recently dumped, Akane is just about to quit the game she used to play with her boyfriend when she meets Yamada in the same RPG. Yamada in real life turns out to be somewhat of a legend. The only problem is – he is ONLY interested in the game. As Akane’s feelings grow, will Yamada’s focus stay on the game?”
Slow-burning romance comedy series My Love Story With Yamada-Kun at Lv999 centers on college student Akane Kinoshita, who recently experienced a breakup with her partner.
She enters a role-playing game (RPG) out of frustration and encounters Yamada Akito, a guild member whose avatar is an afro wizard sporting a noh mask.
Yamada is introduced in the series as a bored gamer boy. He soon attracts Akane’s attention, though, and as she moves past her breakup, her interest in him grows. As a result, the anime’s most intriguing development will be watching how two completely different people fall in love.
