A Galaxy Next Door is a Japanese manga series written and drawn by Gido Amagakure. Since April 2020, it has been published in parts in Kodansha’s seinen manga magazine Good! Afternoon.
In April 2023, both an anime TV series made by Asahi Production and a drama TV series based on the book will start airing. Since the next chapter isn’t out yet, spoilers and raw scans haven’t been released yet.
Usually, they come out about 4–5 days before the chapter comes out. But the fight between Kid and Shanks is likely to be the focus of the next chapter. The kid had never been near Shanks before, and in the last fight, he couldn’t even see his face.
But now that he’s back and seems so much more sure of himself, fans can assume he’s gotten stronger and could easily beat Shanks. The anime is scheduled to air in April 2023.

The first trailer and key visual for the anime version of A Galaxy Next Door have been released. Both of these show the main couple in the rom-com. The past also talks about the supernatural idea of a brave woman named Shiori Goshiki, who claims to be an alien princess.
In April, a secret image from the anime was found. The anime is being made by Studio Asahi, and Ryuichi Kimura is in charge. Tomoka Otaki is working on character plans, and Gigaemon Ichikawa is in charge of the story’s content.
Yu Wakui plays Shiori Goshiki and Taku Yashiro plays Ichiro Kuga in the main cast.

A Galaxy Next Door Anime Story
Ichirou Kuga has been struggling to take care of his two younger siblings since their father died. He has only a small inheritance and his love of drawing manga helps him.
But it’s getting harder for him to keep up with his growing responsibilities and deadlines, especially since his last two assistants quit to follow their dreams.
Just when he’s about to lose it, the beautiful and frighteningly smart Shiori Goshiki applies to be his new assistant.
But there’s something almost otherworldly about Goshiki, and when she announces that they’re going to get married out of the blue, Kuga’s world turns upside down.
Drama
In January 2023, it was announced that the book would be turned into a TV drama, with Yoshihito Okashita, Izuru Kumasaka, and Masayuki Kokury as the directors. It will air on NHK for the first time on April 3, 2023.
Anime
In April 2022, it was said that the series would be turned into an anime TV series. It is made by Asahi Production and directed by Ryuichi Kimura. Gigaemon Ichikawa wrote the scripts, and Fuyuka Taki drew the characters.
The first episode will air on Tokyo MX and BS11 on April 9, 2023. “Tonari Awase” by Chinatsu Matsumoto is the opening theme, and “Near Stella” by Y Wakui is the ending theme. Outside of Asia, the show was licensed to Crunchyroll.
