There is a lot of new anime coming out in the Spring 2023 anime schedule, but Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku’s anime might be the best one to watch out of all the new hits!
There are a lot of new episodes of franchises like Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc in the spring, but some manga is also getting their first anime adaptations.
Even though Yuji Kaku’s Hell’s Paradise manga ended a while ago, this gives the anime a clean slate to tell the best version of the story possible. Hell’s Paradise’s anime is set to start next month, but it’s a little hard to get fans to pay attention to it.
Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku is made by Studio MAPPA, the same company that made the anime for Chainsaw Man and will make the next season of Jujutsu Kaisen.
It promises a very unique setting and a central story that will definitely hook fans because of how many fights, character deaths, and other things are going to happen.
Spent the last few days reading through Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku ahead of its anime debut this Spring, and this is gonna be a big one folks. It's so damn cool. There's also a lot of nonchalant nudity so curious to see how that works out haha pic.twitter.com/jFHc5j5EIy

Hell’s Paradise Jigokuraku Anime Release Date
The trailer says that the anime version of Jigokuraku will come out in April 2023. The show is being made by MAPPA, the same animation studio that made Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, One Punch Man season 3, and many other popular shows.
The year 2023 will be a big one for MAPPA, as they will be putting on many shows.

Describe The Plot of Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku
Gabimaru is the main character in Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku. He is known as one of the most brutal killers, which is why he is called Gabimaru the Hollow. He is very good at what he does and always gets the job done, but he is betrayed and given a death sentence because of it.
Only one thing will set him free: going to a long-lost, mysterious island and getting the shogun the legendary “elixir of life.” But heaven and hell are only a hair’s breadth away on this island, so he’ll have to get off in one piece first.
Who is on The Hell’s Paradise Anime Team?
At Jump Festa 2022, it was announced that MAPPA (Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man) will be animating the Hell’s Paradise anime and that Twin Engine will be making it. Kaori Makita is in charge of making the show (Twittering Birds Never Fly).
Akitsugu Hisagi (Kids on the Slope, One Punch Man, Future Diary) is designing the characters, and Yoshiaki Dewa (My Hero Academia Season 2, Food Wars!, Highschool of the Dead) is making the series’ music.
How to Read or Watch Hell’s Paradise
Gabimaru the Hollow is a dangerous ninja who is the main character of the series. He is sentenced to death by his clan for betraying them when he says he wants to live a normal life with his wife, who is also the clan head’s daughter.
He is spared, however, when the shogun sends him to find the Elixir of Life on a mysterious island. Ten criminals “qualify” for this mission through violence, and if they can get the Elixir of Life and bring it back to the Shogun, they will be given a full pardon.
From there, things only get worse, as the island is full of strange monsters that look religious and the real enemy shows up. Hell’s Paradise is a relatively short series, but that doesn’t mean it’s short on action.
Characters die all the time, you’ll find yourself rooting for people you wouldn’t expect to, and as the series goes on, a power system is revealed.
If you wanted to read Hell’s Paradise before the new anime came out, you can now find all 127 chapters in the digital Shonen Jump library from Viz Media (with a paid subscription).
Given how naked some of the characters are, there are a few things that might not make it into the anime, so the manga might be the way to go.
