Solo Leveling is a popular Korean manhwa that is based on the same-named novel by Chugong. It was one of the most-read Korean comic series around the world in 2021. In the story, the weakest Hunter, Sung Jinwoo, tries to become the strongest S-Rank Hunter.
K-dramas are often made from fans’ favorite manhwa, or Korean comics. This time, though, it will be a bit different because they will watch an anime version of the popular series Solo Leveling.
In the years after it came out, the manhwa took over the internet. It broke all records, which didn’t go unnoticed by anime producers in Japan. So, A-1 Studios, which is known for making popular Japanese shows like Kaguya-Sama Love is War and Black Butler, will soon put out the anime version of the manhwa.

What Do The People Who Made “Solo Leveling” Say About the Anime?
In a press release, Chugong and DUBU, the people who made Solo Leveling, talked about how they felt about the anime version.
Author Chugong said, “About six years ago, when I was writing the beginning of Solo Leveling, if someone had told me, ‘The novel you wrote will become a comic,’ I’m sure I would have told them to stop messing with me.
But now, I’m told that it’ll be animated?! Seriously, stop messing with me! “But right now, I’m very happy and excited. Since I’m still not sure this is real, I want Jinwoo and the other characters to be animated soon so I can feel better. I’ll continue to work hard and look forward to that day.”
DUBU said, “The Solo Leveling anime is finally coming out. We feel like we just got the offer for the anime adaptation yesterday.
“I can’t believe that the anime is really being made right now, and it’s all because you Solo Leveling fans love and support it.
“I have a lot to be thankful for. Thank you a lot. Also, please help the people who make animations. If this anime gives readers something new to enjoy, I’ll be happy.”
