Re:Zero Season 3: What Fans Want to See in the Upcoming Episodes!

Since Kadokawa said that the third season of Re: Zero would be made during AnimeJapan 2023, fans of the series have been waiting for more news about the anime.

So, here we’ll talk about when Re: Zero seasons 3 might come out and what you can expect from it.

Re: Zero tells the story of Natsuki Subaru, a high school dropout who is suddenly called to a world that looks like a dream.

Here, he makes friends with a half-elf girl named Emilia, and then he finds out that if he dies, he can come back to life at a certain spot. So, he decides to help Emilia with this power.

Re Zero Season 3 Release Date

Since Kadokawa posted a key visual and an announcement trailer, fans can probably expect that the start of season 3 of Re: Zero won’t be as far away as they fear. Season 1 of Re: Zero came out in 2016, and season 2 will come out in 2020 and 2021.

Even though there was a four-year gap between the first and second seasons, there may not be a four-year gap between the third and fourth seasons, since the third season was revealed only two years after the second season ended.

But since the news trailer and key visual didn’t say anything else about the anime, it’s likely that Re: Zero season 3 will come out sometime in 2024, probably in two courses like the second season.

So, Re: Zero Season 3 could start airing as early as the Winter 2024 anime season, which is January 2024. Since the anime did not say that White Fox will be animating the third season, fans can expect a change in the animation studio, which could be revealed later.

Fans can expect that the animation studio will work with another animation company because of the situation.

What To Expect in The Third Season Of Re: Zero?

Since Arc 4: The Everlasting Contract was the last part of season 2, the next season will probably start with Arc 5: The Stars that Engrave History.

Anastasia Hoshin will ask the Emilia, Priscilla, Crusch, and Felt Camps to a party in the Watergate City of Priestella during the fifth arc.

Unfortunately, the Witch Cult is going to come to Watergate City soon after they get there and take control of it.

So, Natsuki Subaru will have to get all five camps to work together in order to beat the bad Cultists and free the city. Even in the trailer for the reveal, it’s clear that the five camps will be important in the next story arc.

Also, Subaru, Emilia, Beatrice, Garfiel, and Otto can be seen standing together and looking up at the four Witch Cult members who are looking down on them.

After that, the anime could adapt some or all of Arc 6: The Corridor of Memories, based on how many episodes are on the list.
