Anime is doing well now because there are so many interesting and beautifully animated shows in just about every field you can think of. There is something for everyone in the world of anime.
For example, “Saga of Tanya the Evil” is about bad businessmen who are reborn as little girls and rise through the ranks of the military in an alternate version of World War I Germany.
“Fruits Basket” is about people who change into an animal from the Chinese zodiac when they are hugged by someone of the opposite s*x. We would be forgetting something if we didn’t mention “Fire Force,” a show with a unique twist: It’s about a group of firemen and the idea of something burning on its own.
The show is based on the manga by the author of “Soul Eater,” Atsushi Ohkubo. It’s about Shinra Kusakabe, who is a third-generation pyrokinetic who can make fire come out of his feet.
Shinra joins up with Special Fire Force Company 8, which is made up of pyrokinetic, to deal with Infernals. Infernals are people who turn into living flames by spontaneously catching on fire.
In December 2020, the second season of “Fire Force” ended. It was one of the top five most-watched anime shows on Amazon Prime Japan. Since then, fans of the hit show have been waiting for another season. Here’s what we know so far about Season 3 of “Fire Force.”
When Will Season 3 of Fire Force Come Out?
On May 16, 2022, the official Twitter account for “Fire Force” announced that there would be a third season. The tweet showed a picture of Shinra Kusakabe, a teen with sharp teeth, grinning after one of his attacks.
Sadly, that was all there was to the reveal. No date was given for Season 3’s release, and we still don’t have a release plan or any news about the show’s making.
We didn’t even know for a long time if the anime would get a third season, so at least we can hold on to our joy while we wait for more information to come out.
The first two seasons of “Fire Force” came out in the summer, in July 2019 and 2020. The month of July 2021 came and went without any news about a third season, and there was still no word as 2022 began.
When Season 3 was finally announced in May of that year, it looked like the release date was set for July 2023.
Fans of the show have complained on Reddit that the company that made “Fire Force,” David Production, is busy making an anime version of Yoshifumi Tozuka’s manga “Undead Unluck,” which is set to come out in 2023.
Considering this, it’s unlikely that Season 3 of “Fire Force” will come out in the summer of 2023, and it may not even come out in 2023 at all. If another company doesn’t take over, it won’t happen until at least 2024.
Fans have suggested studios like Studio Trigger (“Kill la Kill”), Bones (“My Hero Academia“), Wit Studio (“Attack on Titan”), and Studio Pierrot (“Naruto”) as possible new homes for the show, but most people think it should stay with David Production if at all possible.

The Story of Fire Force Seasons 2
The story takes place in a world where people often catch fire on their own. Firefighters who are good at putting out quick fires that turn people into wild monsters are needed right away.
Shinra Kusakabe, a strong third-generation pyrokinetic youth known as “Devil’s Footprints,” decides to join Special Fire Force Company 8. He joins the force to stop the hellish attacks and finally finds out what happened to his family twelve years ago.
Shinra and his group look into other fire teams as they try to save people from the dangerous curse of fire. But they get caught up in the chaos of power games, dishonesty, and manipulation.
Chaos ruled the end of Season 2. Tokyo was in flames, and enemies took control. Captain Hague from Special Fire Force Company 4 was killed in this last fight, which was very sad.
Shinra was able to find his inner strength and be able to see Adolla after years of hard training. He was even able to see his beloved captain’s last moments.
Shinra and the 8th Company are likely to spend most of season 3 building alliances around Tokyo to help them fight White Clad and the Evangelist.
Where Can You Watch Fire Force’s First Two Seasons?
It’s been a while since the second season of “Fire Force” ended with a bang, and since Season 3 is still a ways off, there’s never been a better time to watch the first two seasons of the hit show.
But where can you see them and how?
“Fire Force” can be streamed on more than one device, which doesn’t happen very often with anime or TV shows in general. With a basic Hulu account, you can watch both seasons right now. You can also watch it on the popular anime streaming site Crunchyroll.
There are French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, and English dubs for Seasons 1 and 2. You can watch it for free if you don’t mind long ads, or you can buy a premium ticket to skip the ads and go straight to the show.
You can also watch both seasons of “Fire Force” for free and with ads on Funimation. Also, if you want to skip the ads, you’ll have to pay more for a premium membership.
If you’ve seen the first two seasons of “Fire Force” many times and still want more, you could always pick up the book and learn more about the story than your friends. There are 34 books in all, and as of this writing, 30 of them have been turned into English.
Kodansha USA has the right to put them out in English in North America. Volume 31 is set to come out in English on February 21, 2023. By August 22, 2023, the whole series will be released in English.
