Taylor Swift is all by herself in the city. The “Anti-Hero” singer was seen out to dinner in New York City with her longtime friend and partner Jack Antonoff and Antonoff’s fiancee Margaret Qualley just days after news came out that Swift had broken up with boyfriend Joe Alwyn.
Videos and photos posted on social media show Swift smiling as she goes out to dinner with the couple at the Via Carota restaurant in downtown Manhattan.
The restaurant is just a few blocks away from Cornelia Street, which inspired one of Swift’s songs on her Lover album and is thought to be about Alwyn.
Swift sings in the 2019 song, “And I hope I never lose you, hope it never ends/ I’d never walk Cornelia Street again/ That’s the kind of heartbreak time could never heal/ I’d never walk Cornelia Street again.”
The 33-year-old singer is currently on her The Eras tour. For this event, she wore a black off-the-shoulder top with embroidered high-waisted jeans and black shoes.
She added a sparkly handbag and her signature red lipstick to finish off the look.
Swift didn’t wear a lot of jewelry Monday night, but fans who look closely think that the “J” necklace Alwyn gave her is the one she’s wearing in the photos.
Swift hasn’t been seen in public since ET got the exclusive news on Saturday that she and Alwyn broke up a few weeks ago after dating for six years. ET also knows that the breakup was friendly and “not a big deal.”

“The relationship had just run its course,” someone told ET. Because of this, Alwyn hasn’t been seen at any shows.
” Swift’s next stop on her tour is in Tampa, Florida. The first of three shows in Tampa starts on Thursday.
Not too long ago, people said that Swift and Alwyn were doing well in their relationship. Late in 2016, they started dating, and in October, a source told ET that they were “doing great” and that their “relationship is super strong.”
This news came just hours after Swift released her much-anticipated 10th studio album, Midnights, which was followed by the surprise release of seven more songs in the 3 am Edition of the album.
Several of the songs on the 3 Am Edition were inspired by Swift and Alwyn’s relationship and the lengths they go to shut out the outside world, which Swift confirmed in several of the songs.
Alwyn, who is 32 years old, told British Vogue in September 2018 that he knows people are always interested in what’s going on with him and Swift.
“I know people want to know about that side of things,” he said about Swift to the magazine.
“I think we’ve done a good job of being private, and I think people now understand that.”
