April 13- Corinne Foxx, Jamie Foxx’s daughter, said that he is getting better after “a medical complication.”
Variety, a Hollywood trade magazine, said that the Oscar winner was taken to the hospital in Atlanta, where he was shooting a new comedy with Cameron Diaz.
“We wanted to let you know that my father, Jamie Foxx, had a health problem yesterday. “Thanks to quick action and great care, he is already on the way to getting better,” Corinne Foxx said on behalf of the Foxx family in a message posted on Instagram late Wednesday night. “We know how much he is loved and thank you for your thoughts. During this time, the family asks for privacy.”
