So, given the abundance of unique content, A-1 Pictures can at least produce another 69 episodes, which might be divided into six further seasons of 12 episodes each. Season 3 of 86 Eighty-Six might return as early as Fall 2022.

No new characters have yet been introduced in the manga series for the third season of the anime, and nearly all of the characters from the first two seasons will return. Emma, Shinei, Kurena, and many other characters who have played significant roles in the current plot will undoubtedly be present.
