NieR: Automata Ver1.1, Episode 9. The release of a cartoon has been pushed back yet again, and the new date is still TBA.

Even though the global coronavirus pannier Automata Anime Episode 9 Release Date Announced: Get Ready for the Actionndemic has less of an effect on the anime industry than it did in the past, it is still a major problem that current series are having trouble dealing with.

NieR: Automata, which had to take a three-week break in January because of the pandemic, has been one of the most affected shows this season.

NieR: Automata episode 9’s release date has been pushed back again, which is bad news. Here’s everything fans need to know about this.

NieR: Automata Ver1.1.a Episode 9 Release Date Delayed

NieR: Automata Ver1.1.a episode 9 was supposed to be shown for the first time everywhere on March 18. However, it has been revealed that the new anime episode has been pushed back.

Since the new episode has been taken off the air in Japan, the series will not be shown at the same time in other countries on Crunchyroll this weekend. This means that all NieR fans are in the same boat when it comes to the break.

According to the official Japanese website for the show, the reason for the upcoming delay is again an increase in coronavirus cases among the production team. This is the same reason why episode 4 was pushed back from January 28 to February 18 last year.

“Thank you very much for all of your continued support of the TV cartoon “NieR: Automata Ver1.1a.” Due to the spread of the new coronavirus “COVID-19” and the delay it caused in making the videos, we have chosen to delay the broadcast and distribution of episodes 9 and up.

Unfortunately, the press statement didn’t say anything about when NieR: Automata episode 9 would come out again, either in Japan or elsewhere through Crunchyroll.

“We kindly ask you to be patient until Episode 9 is aired and distributed. Even though this decision was made because of things that were out of our control, we apologize again for the trouble and worry this may cause people who were looking forward to seeing the work.

We’d appreciate it if you could understand.” The original video game series writer and director, Yoko Taro, responded to the news release on Twitter: “Automaton anime. Episodes 9 and up will have to wait. It is hard to make anime…”

This a warning that new episodes of the English dub will still come out every Saturday. Episode 2 will come out on March 25 at 8 PM GMT, 4 PM ET, and 1 PM PT.

There are only four more NieR: Automata episodes left to air if you count episode 9 which was put off. Automata’s first cour: Reliable leaker SugoiLITE has said that season 1 will have 24 episodes spread over two cour, but this has not yet been confirmed.

A Quick Recap of NieR: Automata Episode 8

The eighth episode of NieR: Automata was called “Aji Wo [K]utta?” This episode moved much more slowly than the ones before it, and it focused on the main characters.

The Commander tells 2B and 9S to find and kill A2, but he doesn’t tell them why. Lily decides to do the same thing when she realizes that A2 is No. 2.

The androids find Jackass near a wrecked building on the coast. After 2B finds a Lunar Tear Flower, they decide to go their separate ways. Jackass says she doesn’t know anything about A2, but again agrees that 2B is No. 2.

9S hacks into the electrical system of the Bunker, but he is kicked out of the software when his presence seems suspicious. He tries to follow what he thinks is A2 through the system, but he gets stuck in what looks like an ethereal world.

2B gets angry when she can’t get in touch with 9S, and Eve worries when she can’t find Adam on the Machine network.
