Everything You Need To Know About The Apple Pencil 1st Gen!

Apple Pencil is a line of wireless stylus pens made by Apple Inc. for use with iPad tablets that accept them.

On September 9, 2015, the first iPad Pro and the first Apple Pencil were both revealed. It uses Bluetooth to talk wirelessly, and the cap can be taken off to reveal a Lightning connection for charging. The Pencil works with the first- and second-generation iPad Pro models, as well as the sixth- through tenth-generation iPad models (the tenth-generation iPads need a USB-C adapter).

The second-generation Apple Pencil was announced on October 30, 2018, along with the third-generation iPad Pro. It works with most iPad models with a USB-C port, except for the tenth-generation iPad, which doesn’t have one.

It doesn’t have a Lightning connection for charging, but instead has a magnetic connector on the side. It also has touch-sensitive areas where you can tap to do things in supported apps.

Put in Apple Pencil. Erase Walls

Apple Pencil might be new to you, but you already know how to use it. From the start, it does what you want it to do. Then a lot more. If you want to sketch in the park, paint a watercolor picture, or make a blueprint, you can do all of these things with the Apple Pencil. You can hold it, but it can’t stop you.

Very Quick to Respond. Virtually No Lag

Apple Pencil is different from other art tools because it responds so quickly. That’s because its latency, which is the small amount of time between when you start drawing and when it shows up on the screen, has been cut down to almost nothing.

With this information and software made by Apple, there are only a few milliseconds between the picture you see in your head and the one you see on the screen.

Make Lines of Any Thickness. Just Apply Pressure

Inside its thin casing are precise pressure gauges that can measure a wide range of forces. The carefully placed sensor knows exactly how hard the Apple Pencil tip is being pressed.

With A Tilt of The Hand, You Can Add Coloring

Two tilt sensors built into the tip of the Apple Pencil can figure out how your hand is held and at what angle. The Multi-Touch display can figure out where each of these sensors is based on how you naturally write or draw. So you can get coloring effects by tilting Apple Pencil the same way you would tilt a charcoal pencil or a regular pencil.

12 Hours on A Single Charge

You are in charge of being creative
If you take off the magnetic cap on the Apple Pencil, you’ll see a Lightning connection. You can charge the Apple Pencil by plugging it into your iPad. The socket is a little bit longer than usual, so you can charge your iPad even when it’s in its Silicone Case.
