Netflix is quickly going from being the default streaming service to a company that is having trouble keeping up in the streaming wars.

How To Stop Your Netflix Service Through Your Web Browser?
Follow these steps in a web browser on your phone or computer to close your Netflix account.
It’s easier to use a browser on a computer, but the same steps work on the smartphone site. Go straight to the Netflix account cancellation approval page if you want to skip to step 5.
- Go to the Netflix website and log in to the account you want to cancel.
- Click your profile picture in the upper-right corner of the page.
- Click Account to open the Account Details page.
Click Finish, then click Cancel. This takes you to a survey where you can choose from a list of reasons why you want to cancel or give more detailed comments.
Fill out the question, then click “Done.” This gets you back to the page with information about when you won’t be able to watch Netflix shows anymore.
If you cancel your Netflix account, you can sign up again and pick up where you left off, including your likes, preferences, and where you left off on shows you’ve already watched, as long as you do it within 10 months.
Log in to netflix.com, go to the Account Details page (step 3), and click the Restart Membership button on the left side of the page.

If you used one of the best Android tablets to make your Netflix account, it’s probably linked to your Google account. If so, you can cancel your phone account by doing the following:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your phone or tablet.
- Tap your profile icon in the upper-right corner. The profile icon shows the picture you assigned to the account or your initials.
- Once the profile menu is open, select Payments & Subscriptions.
- Select Subscriptions.
