We have entirely altered the way that we plan our dates and events by using the Calendar software that is available on the iPhone. The iPhone is the device that I use to manage my day, and I occasionally use the desktop computer to keep track of my subsequent appointments.

Without a doubt, Google is the winner in this category. The company is very efficient and fully integrates its services, which means that anytime you receive an email confirming an upcoming event, Google will automatically create an event in the Calendar for you to ensure that you do not miss out on the opportunity. Although Apple does have a capability that is comparable, the company only recommends that you add it manually. For instance, if I were to receive a text message that contained a date and time within the body of the message, Apple would highlight the date, and you would be able to create an event simply tapping on it.

4. Integration with Other Calendars
Adding functionality for importing calendars from other sources is another way in which Google Calendar raises the bar to a level that is beyond reasonable expectations. By utilizing the Gmail IDs of your coworkers, you are able to make a request for access to their calendars, and you can even import calendars from third-party services by using their URLs.
You can also import your Apple Calendar into Google Calendar with just one tap, rendering Apple Calendars redundant. If that wasn’t enough, you can download Google Calendar from the App Store.

5. Exclusive Features
Despite the fact that Apple is the leader in exclusivity when it comes to programs and services, the Calendar app is fairly unremarkable when compared to the enormously popular program that is Google Calendar. Please do not misunderstand me; Apple Calendar is still a valuable and practical program; but, Google Calendar includes additional features such as reminders and tasks in addition to the regular functionality itself. In addition, Google Calendar offers support for add-ons, which simply enhance the overall experience.
As if that weren’t enough, Google Calendar now includes a Goal option that allows you to record your health on the calendar. The most advantageous aspect is that you are able to synchronize the data from your Apple Health and perform chores without having to transfer between multiple Applications on your iPhone.
It is good that Google delivers all of those distinct capabilities in a single app without compromising its usability, despite the fact that Apple has separate applications (Reminders and Apple Health) for each of those functions that I described above.

6. Availability
The Google Calendar app is now officially available for download on compatible devices, including the iPhone, iPad, Chrome, and Android. Google Calendar can still be used on other devices, including computers running Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux, as long as you have a web browser installed on those devices. Google has designed all of its applications with a focus on mobile and web-based platforms.
On the other hand, Apple limits the availability of Calendar to the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Macintosh computers. Through the use of the iCloud website, you are still able to view it on any device, including desktop computers running Windows, Chromebooks, and Linux.
There is not a substantial difference between the two calendars because Google Calendar includes a specialized app for Chromebooks and Android smartphones, while Apple Calendar has more apps that are specifically designed for Apple devices. When it comes to every other device, both devices are capable of managing an online calendar without any difficulty.
