Big Boi filed for divorce in April, and the final divorce decree was entered last month, according to TMZ. The rapper allegedly stated that there is “no realistic possibility of reconciliation” between the couple in the court paperwork. The documents show they were living separately and had been separated for some time when he filed.
In 2016, Big Boi and Patton created a postnuptial contract that shared all of their assets and debts. They also consented to a settlement that will pay off any debts and a nondisclosure agreement regarding their individual financial situations.
Sherlita, 49, and Big Boi, 47, were married in March 2002 and have two children: Jordan, 27, and Cross, 21. Big Boi is the father of Jordan and Cross. Bamboo, a 22-year-old kid from a previous relationship, is also his.
